(September 2007)

Start saving your pocket money because the new iPod Touch is
just like the iPhone except cheaper, thinner and without the
phone bit. it'll be here by the end of September in 8GB and 16GB
flavours.
It has contacts, calendars and a clock, but best of all it’s
just 8mm thin. That’s ridiculous.
There’s a WiFi connection too, with full Safari access, so
you’ll be able to get hold of iTunes on the go thanks to the
newly launched iTunes WiFi music store. Tap a song to preview,
hit the download button and it'll be there next time you dock
it.
There’s also instant access to YouTube, iPhone style. It can
even access Jesus phone designed sites, like the Facebook one we
fooled around with a few weeks back.
It looks just like the ‘Pod on the iPhone, with sexy cover flow
and an amazingly easy to use interface.
You’ll get 22 hours of music and five hours of video and comes
in 8GB and 16GB flavours. And the good news? It’s out this
month. The 8GB will set you back a mere £199, the 16GB £269.
